We have received feedback from a couple of Age Group Managers stating that there has been some confusion regarding Registration Forms and Annual Subs.
As such, we would like to provide some clarity around this:
REGISTRATION FORM
We require a Registration Form for EVERY player who will be signing on for the 2022/23 Season.
Where we do not have a Registration Form the Child will not be Registered on the Whole Game System and will, therefore, be unable to train or play until this is complete.
ANNUAL COSTS FOR 2022/23 SEASON
Registration Fee - £20
Single Child Rate - £168
Sibling Rate - £130
Manager's/Coach's/Committee Member's Rate - £72
Examples of how this will work:
Single Player - £20 Registration Fee, followed by £168 either as Annual or by 8 Direct Debit Payments. Total cost - £188
Sibling Rate - £20 Registration Fee, followed by £130 either as Annual or by 8 Direct Debit Payments. Total cost - £150
Manager/Coach's Rate - £20 Registration Fee, followed by £72 either as Annual or by 8 Direct Debit Payments. Total cost - £92
If you believe that you have overpaid for Registration or Annual Subs, please email us with the details by 10 September 2022 and we will investigate and arrange a refund where required.

On Monday 29 March, as part of the next stage of the Government’s roadmap out of national lockdown, outdoor sports facilities can open, and organised outdoor football can take place.
Updated guidance has now been published, based on the latest Government advice available, which applies to all outdoor youth and adult football and Futsal, including all formats of the game.
If there are any further updates from the Government, we'll communicate these in due course. The FA will also update their guidance as we move through the different steps of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
Travel
The Government guidance on travel is that the ‘stay at home’ rule will end on Monday 29 March, but many restrictions will remain in place. As organised sport can resume, all participants may travel to games but should avoid travel at the busiest times and routes, as well as minimising any unnecessary journeys where possible. All participants must follow the Government’s guidance on safer travel.
Changing rooms
Changing rooms cannot be used as part of step one in the roadmap out of lockdown and must remain shut. Toilets will be allowed to open, 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after training and/or matches. All government guidance on hygiene and social distancing measures must be followed.
Spectators
No spectators are allowed at grassroots football as part of step one of the Government’s roadmap. One parent or guardian per child is permitted, where clubs and facilities can safely accommodate this and following all appropriate guidance.
Indoor football
Indoor sport is not currently allowed. This is planned to return no earlier than Monday 12 April for U18s and Monday 17 May for adults, as part of steps two and three of the Government’s roadmap. Disability football is allowed to take place indoors from the 29 March.
It's extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, league officials, volunteers, parents, carers, and facility providers continue to strictly follow both the UK Government's latest guidance on COVID-19 and respective bespoke guidance documents from the FA.
Any incidents of non-compliance will be reported to the local County Football Association.
As I’m sure you are all aware the nation has now entered another national lockdown during which time all amateur and grassroots sports will be suspended .
Therefore, we have no choice but to suspend all training and fixtures within our club during this period with immediate effect.
As we are unaware of the exact length of this lockdown it is difficult to advise further how this will impact on individual teams games/leagues but once the restrictions are lifted we will ensure we maximise training and games for all players in what will remain of the season whilst keeping in focus the health and well-being and safety of all players.
The second instalment, of the annual subs payment is deferred with immediate effect and will be reviewed and reduced proportionately inline with training/game time missed due to the lockdown.
We will provide updates, as and when government guidelines are updated.
As always Churwell Lions primary focus during this time is the safety of all our players/coaches and parents.
Please all stay safe and look forward to a safe return once the virus is back under control.

On Saturday 19 December our U10s completed a 5km run to raise money for Children’s Heart Surgery.
All at Churwell Lions are very proud of all these kids and their parents.
They’ve all trained incredibly hard over the last 6 weeks to be able to complete the run.
The challenge was started with a target of £200 for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. However, as the weeks passed, so did the target, raising over a phenomenal £1,700!

U10's Manager Ian Longley set his U10's and their families the challenge of keeping active during the second Lockdown - by training for a 5k run over a 6 week period!
All involved would need to build their fitness up to eventually reach the 5k milestone.
As lots of children will be taking part we thought this would be a perfect opportunity to raise funds for a deserving Children's Charity.
Please feel free to support our U10's Lions and kindly donate to encourage us to meet our GOAL !!!!
